The Trump-Biden first debate the other night, it was toast for Biden. See these quick results within hours of their debate.
During Trump's 4 years (2017-2020), no new war. He also wanted to pull out US troops in Iraq and Syria.
Before Trump, Obama created several new wars -- Syria 2014, coup in Ukraine 2014, Libya regime change 2011, Kosovo war 2011, etc. plus he sustained the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq.
Biden with 13 months in office, big war in Ukraine, then big war in israel-palestine. Biden was also VP and Ukraine point man when the coup of 2014 happened.
Big corporate media like NYT, CNN, Wapo, MSNBC, etc. and CIA were very happy with Obama and Biden, very angry at Trump. If Biden "wins" again this November very likely a big war in TW plus claimant countries in SCS. Endless war is their goal and happiness.
Democrats may replace Biden with Hillary or Michelle O. or Gavin Newsome, or even Kamala, others.
US politics should be none of our business, it is their internal affairs. Except that when Dems control the WH, war in TW and SCS becomes more probable or inevitable. A Trump leadership is more focused on business and commerce, no new war. So favorable to us.
There was one interview of Apple's CEO Tim Cook where he was praising CN's deep and wide engineering skills compared to the US or any other country. Maybe because while CN universities produce math and physics literate graduates, US universities produce DEI and ESG literate graduates.
While Germany killed all their nuke power plants in 2023, and Taiwan will kill all their nuke plants in 2025, RU and CN are expanding their nuke power capacities. Including a joint RU-CN nuke power plant in the moon, https://asiatimes.com/2024/06/a-space-quad-russia-china-north-korea-and-iran/.
Another reason why the Ukraine war should end soon. The TW and SCS war mongering should end soon. Because the longer these actual and potential wars persist, the deeper the cooperation among these 4 countries become.
