Naming of viruses – these are among the known killer viruses:

Spanish flu, Russian flu, German measles, Middle East virus/MERS, Ebola virus from Ebola River Congo, West Nile virus from West Nile region Uganda, Zika virus from Zika Forest Uganda, Marburg virus from Marburg Germany, Hanta virus from Hantan S. Korea, etc. 

All used by the WHO but WHO doesn't want to call the current pandemic as China virus or Wuhan virus, only Covid-19 because the China Communist Party will get angry. SARS in 2002 should actually be called Guangdong virus or China virus 1.

If there is big politics in naming the virus, big politics in under reporting damage of the virus, there is also big politics in continuing hysteria and endless lockdowns.

Just notice the many prohibitions -- in businesses, work, public transportation, people mobility, etc.

Notice also many new spending, which will require new taxes soon.
