Macroecon 4, Q1 2021 GDP of Europe, SE and NE Asia

The lockdown lovers EU countries are again the topnothcers in economic contraction ('negative growth') in Q1 2021. Not all big economies have reported their Q1 data yet. Anyway see the big economies of Europe, GDP growth the past seven quarters.

In South East Asia, it seems only Thailand and Philippines are fans of strict lockdown Europe.

North East Asian countries are generally non-fans of Europe. Of course question mark on China, the origin of Wuhan virus aka Covid-19, in GDP growth. Mongolia posting fast growth in Q1 can be explained by its low base in Q1 2020.

Once more (with feelings)... Lockdown is dictatorial and anti-growth.
